Lifetime Warranty

 

Great Bay Rod Company stands behind its products with an original-owner lifetime warranty. The original-owner lifetime warranty applies only to the original owner and must be registered within 30 days of purchase. Unregistered or resold products are not covered by this warranty. The warranty can be activated by filling out the online form here.

Great Bay Rod Company guarantees every rod with a serial # beginning with 2007 or higher. This warranty is limited to repair and replacement of the rod and does not cover direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or any other type of damage resulting from the use of the product. This warranty does not cover fire, theft, loss, intentional breakage, modification or customization of the finished rod, or damage that occurs to rod blanks during the rod building process. Great Bay Rod Company reserves the sole right to determine whether to repair, or replace, any product covered by this warranty. Colors and components may vary between original and replacement parts.

A $50 fee (payable by the original owner) will be applied to each return shipment made within the continental United States. This fee will defray costs associated with return shipping, insurance and processing. International customers will be charged actual shipping and insurance costs, and will be responsible for all related customs and duty charges.

When you send the Great Bay Rod Company product to us, please send the entire product, freight pre-paid, and insured for its full value. Be sure to include all broken parts or pieces. Package the product either in its original packaging, or in packaging affording an equal degree of protection as the original packaging. Include a note with your name, shipping address, phone number and email address (if available), as well as a brief explanation of the nature of the problem. For return shipments within the continental United States, also include a check for $50, or a Visa, Master Card or American Express credit card number with the name that appears on the card, and the expiration date.
