The Northeast Series is the powerhouse of our SFT fiberglass rod models. Most anglers are amazed at how well these fiberglass rods fish and how powerful they are. All Northeast Series models are 7-foot, 4-piece with a spigot ferrule system for proper energy transfer. Like their Saxon Creek counterparts, the Northeast Series provides delicacy and precision with every cast. At Great Bay Rod Company, we know that with a short rod you also need a light line. Which is why we offer this series of rods in 2-5 line weights. Sometimes you need a line to kiss down on the water’s surface, while other times you need it to punch out a strike indicator, split shot, and weighted nymph.
All rods feature our proprietary tapers, and a lifetime registered original-owner warranty. Every rod ships with a Great Bay Rod Company branded aluminum rod tube and rod bag. Great Bay Rod Company carefully inspects each rod for fit and finish and performs quality assurance testing on 100% of the products that leave our facility; testing includes, static deflection testing to insure precise guide placement, hand casting of all fly rods, and actual line weight measurement verification.
