The Brumby Creek Series is the latest addition to the Great Bay Rod Company SFT fiberglass fly rod series. The Brumby Creek is a unique 5-foot, 2-piece rod design inspired by a customer request. The rod is at home in a creek and small stream fishing, but still has the backbone to present a streamer into a larger pool. Each model has a glossy-green blank, with ruby red trim wraps and gold accent locking wraps. The rod's spigot ferrule design preserves its action and mitigates stiffness or hinge spots. The Brumby Creek models are medium to medium/fast action and an absolute joy to cast.
All rods feature our proprietary tapers, and a lifetime registered original-owner warranty. Every rod ships with a Great Bay Rod Company branded aluminum rod tube and rod bag. Great Bay Rod Company carefully inspects each rod for fit and finish and performs quality assurance testing on 100% of the products that leave our facility; testing includes, static deflection testing to insure precise guide placement, hand casting of all fly rods, and actual line weight measurement verification.
