In the Fall of 2008, we introduced our SFT fiberglass rod series and it has become one of our most popular series as anglers take a step back into a slightly more relaxed casting stroke. These rods don’t look like your Dad’s fiberglass rods. And they sure don’t cast like ‘em, either.

All rods feature our proprietary tapers, and a lifetime original-owner warranty. Every rod ships with a Great Bay Rod Company branded aluminum rod tube and rod bag. Great Bay Rod Company carefully inspects each rod for fit and finish and performs quality assurance testing on 100% of the products that leave our facility; testing includes, static deflection testing to insure precise guide placement, hand casting of all fly rods, and actual line weight measurement verification.
